Kimberly’s motivation with Yoga Beyond the Asanas is to move beyond the stigma of what Yoga looks like, helping others find a yoga-expression that is functional, purposeful and true to their needs, finding a yoga Expression that is safe. She shares scientifically-validated mind-body medicine techniques that enhance each person’s capacity for self-awareness and self-care.
Kimberly shares the belief that all of us have a great and largely untapped capacity to improve our own health and well-being through mind-body approaches (such as meditation, guided imagery and biofeedback) and self-expression (such as drawing and movement), as well as nutrition, exercise and group support.
