The Buddhist monks know this, the Thai masters know this and Yogis know this!
We use our breath to clear our minds and become present as we prepare to engage in the wisdom of Metta – loving-kindness.
Integrative Therapeutic Stretching lays the foundation of compassionate touch, receptivity and communication.
A balanced dance of giving and receiving
This work is a living expression of compassion, loving kindness and healing.
The healing art of
Integrative Therapeutic Stretching or Thai Yoga as it is also called,
combines rhythmic movement, acu-pressure, asanas (Yogic stretching exercises), gentle twisting, energy work and meditation.
Integrative Therapeutic Stretching stimulates and balances the flow of healing energy within the body, opening blocked areas, in an effort to bring the person deeper into balance and harmony. This system creates a powerful release of stress and tension, an increase in vitality and well being as it deepens the connection between mind, body and spirit in both the giver and receiver.

I currently offer Workshops if you are interested in learning, however in an effort to maintain the integrity of the work, their is a minimum one year commitment to learning techniques and practicing what you learn. After that time I am happy to offer workshops that will teach you how to put the work together so that you can effectively offer a one -two hour private session. It is my belief that this practice is becoming very watered down with weekend workshops, giving the participants the false notion that they are ready to offer and charge for a session. It took me over 5 years before I felt I was ready to do privates, and practiced on my students in the classroom and on my friends in an effort to improve my skill.
